Just looking at some of the pics from Triker Fozzy and he had got a very short pipe for his exhaust I think, and I just wondered if we had to get the DB on the exhaust under the 100DB or so limit?
I am looking to buy the orginal Titanium exhaust for its test as its a huge quiet can.
Unless this is not a serious issue?
Cheers
Nick

after doing some research it seems motorbike exhaust db limit on uk roads is 96db, i dunno how accurate that is but a found it on a few forums. Id guess it could fall into that catergory but im not sure couldnt find any info on msva testing limits. You could always stick with the noisy can, worst case they'll fail and you can go back for a retest. Wouldn't be the end of the world. hope this helps

In the Netherlands for road approval the tR1ke is considered as a motorbike with three symmetrical placed wheels. When private build, the car is free for emmisary rules. Dutch legislations say max allowed noiselevel is equal to the EU (80 dB) + 2dB = total 82dB Type approval of my donorbike: 88 dB (hmmm, officially I will have to reduce the noice by 1/4)

Yep, mine does 97 dB... Fortunately I had to cut the exhaust inbetween the cat and the exup-valve, so I am going to make a extra removable silencer inbetween. Eliminates a lot of BHP's also, but I will remove it as soon as it is approved
