Morning everyone. Over the weekend I spent some more time stripping the donor. Am at the stage now of stripping the engine bay and the wiring loom. Up untill now I have been doing everything using various removal guides I have found on the Internet. But after yesterday's mistake I think a Haynes manual is definitely needed! My warning comes from removing the air filter. On top of this is a metal Air Flow Meter (AFM) which you will need to disconnect. DO NOT REMOVE IT USING THE 2 SCREWS!! They look inviting enough but remove at your peril. You will end up stripping 7 terminals from each other and having to buy a new AFM. WOOPS! Instead there is a metal clip (almost invisible) which is round the plug. Put a screwdriver under it and it should ping off, allowing safe removal of the plug as normal. Hope this helps someone, and stops them doing the same as me! **Edited To Add Pics** Regards Alan.

did the same to mine. if you use a razor and cut around the rubber sealant on top of the sensor, the top black panel pops off. four of the terminals are simple push fit, the three middle ones need to be soldered back onto the printed surcuit board. Mine works fine after a quick repair. Alex
