Hi.
Just finishing replacing my 1.8 Zetec in my Rocket with a Omex 170 bhp , wondered if anybody has had any issues putting
this sort of power (150 nm torque) through a standard IB5 box.

I'm putting a bit more through mine without issues, about 190 at the crank and about 170Nm of torque. mevowners.proboards.com/post/106657/threadAnd just to fully check things out I thrash it without mercy and launch at 5k regularly. |

I’m running an st170 engine with a supercharger with an ib5 with a Quaife diff. It made 223 bhp and about 187 ft1b’s torque. I’ve done several track days with no problems. It’s not trying to move the full weight of a Focus which helps.
