Hi Guys Just a couple of questions what is the youngest age for passengers? Do we have any plans for Friday night? Is there cheap pub grub near by? looking forward to it loads, see you all next weekend Cheers Mattsmev Hi Matt, The only age limit I've seen is 10, I guess, who you have as a passenger is at the discretion of the driver, subject to the obvious safety issues like do they fit the seat and are they securely strapped in etc. ;D I'm planning on arriving on the Friday late afternoon, cheap pub grub sounds just the ticket count me in, anyone else up for a pub meal we could make a block reservation maybe get a 2 for 1 deal like at Newark. Not long now, role on the weekend. nigel

Hi Everyone
I have had the Swan Inn at Fradley Junction recommended for food, it's only 2 mins away and as it's on the canal i guess it caters for the holiday crowd. Will can even talk about diesels with a narrow boat owner. I have not managed to make contact with them yet, life is at about 100mph this week
My other question, is anyone staying over on the Saturday night? We had planned to, but then suddenly realised i has no idea what anyone else is planning to do.
See you all tomorrow
Cheers

grub at swan sounds like a plan Mr Mattsmev. I hope they can rival the newark pub selection of pre-meal toys.
Cant ignore the chance to talk about compression ignition goodness either.
Cya all tomorrow.

Might even get to hear Team MEV, there was some talk about it earlier this year (Stuart on vocals / bass, Paul on keyboards and Julie on the drums) but not sure if its still on. Sure we can have some fun and party games, with Aids Rocket now sold who's are we going to use ? Dockets to heavy Role on the weekend ;D nigel

Scott Ps. Nigel where we putting the Pic & Vid's in here or Show-events section, I'm working on a few,,, I've started a thread under 'Event Pictures' for people to post there pictures and video I was a little busy on the day, so I didn't take to many pictures myself and would be really grateful to those that did take pictures, if they would make the effort to post them. Thanks to everyone for making it a great, FUN, incident free event. ;D nigel

I am currently working on pics and videos etc, and I normally take a little while to get round to it, so i'll do my best.
More importantly many many thanks to Nigel, MEV, RTR and the Management for putting on such an excellent day. The atmosphere was great, the weather was kind, the driving was well worth watching and there were only minor breakdowns and more importantly no one was hurt.
Thanks from the mattsmev clan to everyone that made it such a great day
Cheers

Despite a good soaking on the way down and some gearbox issues, it was a good weekend! Many thanks to TEAM MEV and Nigel for sorting everything out. Just about got home saturday evening with an ever decreasing number of selectable gears, called it quits sunday morning when only third was selectable Will
