Will RTR - (roadtracerace) be participating / supporting and or involved in the event ? How much time on the track will we get ? nigel Yes it is envisaged that RTR will be in full attendance. Not only will they be bringing along there demonstrator vehicles, but hopefully it will be an opportunity for Owners to meet some of the backroom manufacturing staff that have been instrumental in building there vehicles. It is currently envisaged that the track will be open from 10.00am until 5.00pm with a 1 hour closure for lunch. With the Circuit being open for 6 hours there should be ample time for all to enjoy themselves. The Management

That would be a great shame if you don't make it Fozzy. The kids thing is on safety grounds thats all. Anyway your tR1ke will only have 2 seats. See if you can get a pass out. See also if the kids can "spot the difference" on the Missile thread

The Management have received a number of like emails and rather than respond individually, its been decided to post the respective answers here as other owners might be having similar thoughts. Q: Is there any limit on who uses the circuit ? A: The track is available for a maximum of 30 MEV Vehicles only. The Vehicle owner may nominate/give permission for any number of a family members or nominated guests, in addition to themselves to drive their car, however all persons must be 18 or over and hold a full driving license. Anyone intending to use the circuit must attend the Drivers briefing and have paid the appropriate fee for circuit use. Q: Why no kids under 10 ? A: While the MEV Owners Group wish to encourage a sense of family community, and with any normal club/show event encourage the participation of all family age groups, due to the nature of the facility and the use of the Circuit it has been deemed prudent to enforce an age restriction on safety grounds. Q: What about MEV products being built exclusively for track/racing use ? A: As a general rule it has been decided that all vehicles should be licensed and road legal as we do not wish to run the risk associated with part complete vehicles. However it is appreciated and acknowledged that a small number of MEV vehicles will be built by owners with the express intention of track/race use only. Therefore, and as with the ‘etrike’ vehicles, those vehicles will be allowed to participate on the understanding that they too will have to pass a safety/fit for purpose inspection, on the day by the Chief Technical Scrutineer - Mr S Mills. in my opinion, it would be a good idea for ALL vehicles to get a 'once over' from stiggy. purely from a safety perspective. will

Is the event open to non-driving Spectators? (paying an appropriate fee of course)
This would be a great opportunity for folks like myself whom are in the process of "getting it together" to become MEV owners and ask like minded folks about their build experience / issues, take photo's and see the cars in action.

Although the event is Not open to the general public, if you are seriously interested in purchasing a MEV product you could attend the event by contacting either MEV or RTR directly, and request that they register you as a Nominated Guest as there guest allowance includes perspective customers. the Management
