Nah I'm not biting, I'm playing by the original rules whereby guesses are only applicable and points are only awarded for location on Saturday midnight.
Next think you'll be wanting to open a Twitter account just for the boat, you'll call it @theshipofsonic or something similar, just because Brian Eno's cat has such a page (@thecatofeno) does not make it right.

Ah yes but as I stated I am using the rules from QI. And also the rules can always and will always change depending on my mood.... Lol Now if any one does understand the scoring system for that please explain it to me. Now we are coming up to the next deadline and more points are up for grabs. There will be a drug and alcohol test for all competitors at the end and points will be taken away for any that DO NOT have alcohol in their systems. By the way I hate twitter and most of the social media crap. haha.. I have just got back from another 1800 km drive back from down south. Took 20 hours with 2 drivers and 2 large dogs in the car. Not sure how I can fit the dogs in the sonic. May have to look at something like this to tow behind the sonic.. travel.thefuntimesguide.com/motorcycle-dog-trailer/By the way,, Points for Steve for an exact location on the 14th. It was indeed docked in Singapore on the 14th. Well done. Come on Rob I thought you knew the ID of the ship?? Cheers Dave

Sorry guys
I lost a day somewhere. The saturday midnight deadline has come and gone. I lost a day somewhere. I think it was after the 22 hour drive I was comatose for a day.
Any way I will take guesses for the next 24 hous to go into the draw.
Keep the guesses coming. If anyone has a Honda H22z1 engine they want to get rid of please let me know as I am gathering all the bits for the rebuild but do not have an engine yet, weird I know...
Cheers Dave

On the basis that no one else is guessing so no matter where I say I must win, I'll guess Indonesia.
Cheers Steve

In that case I'd better sharpen my estimate and say Buton Island Indonesia.

In that case I'm going for Teletubbies Hill, Pasarwajo Bay, Buton Island.
And only because I so want to see a picture of the Teletubbies nudging each other, pointing out to sea and saying "there goes Dave's Sonic, looks way better than our Tubby Car"

Hi all
Unfortunatly you all guessed to exact opposite direction the ship is going.
Nowhere near Indonesia at the moment.
So I am going to have to give you all equal third place in this round.
Do we have any guesses when it to reach Brisbane port???
Cheers Dave

Uuuuuum Mybad
Sorry guys my sonic jumped ship and onto a different one.
I should have had Angus put a gps tracker in with it.
You actually all got equal first place on that last guess.
It was on the NYK Falcon but I guess it did not like the container stewards on there.
But we are closing in on the final leg now so when will it reach Brisbane??
Bonus points for guessing how long it takes to clear customs as well.
Cheers Dave

Sorry but I don't accept this week's results, I hate the "you are all winners" attitude that is rife in today's society and the refusal to allow kids to keep score. If that attitude had been used at the weekend here we would have all been declared winners of the C Class trophy in the Street Sprint Series rather than me.......then again I also set the points system and decided the count back method used to resolve a tie for first in that same series Thus one of us must be declared a winner as, despite being close together, three different locations were given with one of them having to be the closest. Recount please!

We have a request for a recount...
So after careful measurement of the ships location and the distance to the guesses we have some places now.
In third position is Buildityourself second is Rob first place is steve.
both Rob and Steve said Buton island but Teletubby Hill is not right on the coast and the ship was about 500k past it at the time.
Cheers Dave
