I'm going with Yemen this week which, to my great dissapointment, Google Maps is unable to plot a route to by any means And, to my even greater dissapointment, viamichelin.com also refuses to calculate despite allowing me to select a vehicle in which to do the journey. As there was no MEV Rocket in the database I opted for the next best thing a 2018 V8 Koeinesseg Regera.

Leave it with me....my estimations for last week were clearly well out; I've resorted to tweaking my algorithms (....in the privacy of my own home of course...!) and expect a location to present itself to me later, but well in time for the deadline Martin

Although I have no idea how fast cargo ships go or whether there are delays in going through the Suez Canal, I was going to guess the Gulf of Aden, but Kiwi has already bagged Yemen (it must be right as we both thought of it!) I'll guess southern end of Red Sea, before Yemen.

I'm going to say Oman, with a date into Suez Canal of 4/1/19. Think I should have sorted out my guess earlier..... Martin

Well the guesses are in and getting closer.
In third position this round is Steve In second position is Martin ( unfortunately the track shows a turn just before Omen). In first position is Rob with a very close guess indeed.
I see what you mean Rob when you said the track gets a bit hinky when it goes through the canal.
Lost it for a couple of days there as it said it was stuck in the canal for 3 days. Haha
Wow martin That would be a fast ship, enter the canal on the forth and then once through it accelerates to about 150 knots to get to Omen the next day.
So the preliminary places are currently Not showing the points yet but it is very close..
In equal 3rd place is Buildityourself and Steve In second place is Martin In first place is Rob
Keep the guesses coming and remember thre are additional points for guesses during the week as well.
I wont be on for a couple of days as going on a little 1700 km drive to see my dad.
Unfortunately no Sonic so have to take the Jeep.
Cheers Dave

In first position is Rob with a very close guess indeed. It helps a lot when you know the ship tracking I.D.

How do you know the ship id?

Yeah....good question Dave. Think Kiwi should be docked points.....that's like insider dealing I've been doing my utmost to identify the ship.....found a couple that left London Gateway around the right sort of timeframe doing that route, but they don't appear to be the right ones.....very disappointing! Think Kiwi should be docked points... Well I am gutted about that attitude, definitely a case of tall poppy syndrome there. Next you'll be asking for a drugs test! How do I know the ships name? Well if you think about it my system is quite legal and above board (for this game anyway) and it is the same as used by many in top level competition. I will reveal all at the conclusion of the game as, to be honest, my system is not totally foolproof and there is a way to go yet.

I will reveal all at the conclusion of the game ....provided that revelation doesn't come with an accompanying video (...or have I misunderstood?) And - now you mention it - a drugs test is a sensible move (...and in line with actions taken in all top competition) Anyway, it's probably just my bad attitude again..... Back to studying container ship movements around the globe.

This week I'm playing my Joker card with Salalah in Yemen.
Note this is to be differentiated from Shalala Lala by the Venga Boys, or the same in 1975 by the Walker Brothers for the older generation. Which is kind of lucky as, if the Venga Boys did have it, then next week it would be going To Ibiza.

Isn't that near enough where it was last week?
Probably miles out but I'll guess Sri Lanka

Hi all
No bloody internet here so have to hotspot the phone.
Ok so after looking up your guesses.....
Rob I hate to tell you but you are tracking the wrong ship.. You are in third position this week.
Martin I can not even find your guess on the map but it is indeed past India. Second place this week.
So the closest guess and the winner this week is Steve.
I will give you all a hint , the ship has passed Sri Lanka a couple of days ago.
Any guesses what port it is going to in the next 36 hours??
Keep the guesses coming..
Cheers Dave
