I started getting interested in the Reverse trikes when i saw a Morgan trike in a parking lot about 20 years ago. Being a motorcycle guy, i loved how small and open it was, like a motorcycle. The only thing that stopped me from owning a trike was the cost. So i built a couple of off-road cycle engine mini-trikes to learn how to build a trike. I never seemed to have the time to build a full size road trike, and i really did not have the building experience to be able to do so. So i learned slowly how and what to do to build my own. I am retired now so i have started building my version of a trike i seen on the net. It is based on the mille miglia electric trike design. It still may take a while since i am building it from scratch and it's not going to be a replica, just my idea of what i want.
Of course, Now i have been side tracked by a new trike called the Can-am Ryker, and have put down my deposit for the 900 cc engine varient. Hopefully i will get this trike around mid december.
I have been the Admin for a proboards reverse trikes forum for the last 10 years. Here's it's website.
I have also been interested in the MEV trike because i likes how tiny it is. Perhaps when my other project gets finished(well they are never truly finished, so) i will start on a MEV trike.
