Thanks for that,I still need to decide what to do with regard to the steering but for the bushes i went for the Superpro ones

All the Chassis bits are back now after powder coating, time to check and clean any threads etc before putting it all back together again

Managed to get some bits done today after a bit of a hold up with the powder coaters and holiday getting in the way but I have a fairly good update today.

Spent a bit of time cleaning up the threads etc on the subframes after the powder coaters opted not to mask them up, managed to get them clean and all working correctly.

I took the gearbox off for cleaning and painting, removed the clutch and flywheel ready to fit the replacements and also removed the sump to fit an oil return for the turbo conversion a bit later.




















We also fitted the Super Pro bush kit today and got the front and rear subframes 99% complete with brakes still to do.







I also had all the nuts and bolts and brake calipers replated however I forgot to take photos and they are mostly all fitted now but I will take photos of the calipers before I paint and rebuild them.

Here are the latest updates,

Managed to spend a day earlier in the week getting things looking more like a car and made some really good progress getting the skate back together along with rebuilding the calipers and fitting up the brakes this evening.

Ultralight flywheel and clutch by Competition Clutches supplied by Freak Parts











EBC discs and pads supplied by CMD Clacton 







Modified sump ready for turbo conversion by G19
