Just wanted to post a bit up about my exocet race chassis build. We built #deathmachine as a purpose-built track car. Since the stock Miata drivetrain was lacking power, a GM LS1 engine twists a T56 transmission until it meets a Caddilac CTS 3.23 LSD rear differential. 275mm Hoosier A7s do everything they can to put the power to the ground. It weighs in at just over 1900lbs wet and attracts too much attention at every event it shows up to. It's been fast on every track it's ran on, and while it's constantly trying to kill it's occupants, it's a blast to be strapped into.

This is pretty crazy. Any lap times you can share?

Off the top of my head:
NJMP Lightning 1:13 with traffic slowing me down NJMP Thunderbolt WITH CHICANE 1:37 with traffic slowing me down Atlanta Motorsports Park (first time there) - 1:30
Various autocrosses where the lap times change every time LOL.
I'm scheduled to take it to a few more tracks this summer, so stay tuned. Next week is Watkins Glen.

Cool, great to see you having fun with that brilliant car. If possible it would be great if you can get someone to video a passing shot rather than just from the driver position. A slowish pan shot (say 30 mph) with that soundtrack would be awesome. Try second gear when passing the camera with the revs fairly high, it all adds to the drama. Blurred back ground and focused on the car with blurred wheels. It will look and sound fantastic. I look forward to seeing more.

That thing sounds like it's barely breaking a sweat. Looks like a hell of a lot of fun.

Looks good, I would also like to say that the War machine was also an absolute assasin ! Look for it on you tube, doing drifts while down on a cylinder, bust the prop shaft power ! Electrocet should be right up there as Well, but I have only seen it run in the wet. Good luck with the build.
