Oh wheels look good Kevin, and nice and light. Should end up pretty mean looking by the time you are done.

More parts arrived yesterday including a new dipstick, PCV valve, and additional large flange rivets for the floor. The NB top mounts, bushings and washers arrived too so I decided to get the coilovers together. Note: If you go with Raceland/Rokkor coilovers you do not need the large washer (2nd from right in the photo above) as the kit comes with one. You will need to cut the top bushing in half for it to fit.

Kevin,
The wheels and the Racelands look good. I have a couple of questions for you:
1) Do the 205 width tires easily fit under the fenders? 2) What tires did you go with? 3) What width and offset are those wheels? 4) Did you use the upper spring seats that came with the Racelands or did you get new Mazda ones? (I read something on Miata.net about the Racelands seats being low quality and that it would be better to use the stock Mazda ones???)
I'm looking at some similar looking 15" wheels on tirerack.com which I can get in a +25mm offset. I'm hoping that will allow me to run no or very small wheel spacers since they are a little wider than the stock 6 or 6.5" wheels too.

Mark, 1. The 205/45-16s seem to work well under the fenders. Fills it out nicely and I think they will look good once the cycle wing stays are mounted. I hope to get to that soon. 2. Went with BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW tires. I have read good things about them in the reviews, plus there seem to be a decent number of people using them for HPDE track days and autocross with success. www.bfgoodrichtires.com/tire-selector/name/g-force-t-a-kdw-tires3. The offset of these particular Alleggerita HLTs is +37mm. They offer them in +42 too, but I went with the +37 to minimize the width of spacer needed. I really like your idea of getting a +25 to minimize the size of the spacer even more. 4. I used the spring seats that came with the Racelands. They did not look awful, but I am also running on the assumption that these will not likely be on the car for the long haul. After reading the countless forums/posts about the Racelands I have a feeling that at the very least I'll be replacing the springs with a lower spring rate. Time will tell... but it is what it is: extremely cost effective!
