Fitting Steering column and pedals

Hi Gents,
Any good threads on this? Im having issues getting everything to line up. Do the spacers go inside the cockpit or in the engine bay. Donor is mk2 1.8

Hammy,

The spacers for my mk2 went in the engine bay. I tried first with them on the cockpit side but it didn’t work also the bolt on the clutch is.not long enough and I will have to remove that’s at some point.
