Hi and welcome. The trike you have is a MEV tR1ke with a Hayabusa engine. Searching will find all sorts of info. I have never seen a good solution to reverse on trikes. They usually use a car starter motor that clunks in then, whirrs whilst hitting the little battery hard. A soft start is needed, this can be done electronically. Caravan movers are an alternative, just a pivot on to the tyre. As seen here. www.3wheels.org/odds-and-ends-to-make-riding-possible/reverse-gear/You mention gear selecting issues elsewhere. Your trike is very rare, only a hand full were ever built if that. They are hand built and will all vary by their very nature so there is no "off the shelf solution" for you. Gear selection on the donor bike is simple, just a toe lever, going back to this is simple, just a couple of rose joints and a shaft with a pivot or a push pull cable with brackets is required. Remember that these trikes can tip easily if you do not have balanced mass, i.e no passenger. Be careful until you get used to it. A left hand slow speed turn has caught people out many times before, including me!
