First of all if this in the wrong section then I apologise.
I'm very interested to know if anyone would purchase my (mostly) unbuilt rocket? Or should I try to get finished and have a better chance of selling it?
Reason for possible sale is lack of interest and time. Can obviously provide pictures if necessary.
Honest opinions please.

All depends on the price you are selling it for, how much you have put into it and how much it's going to cost to get it through iva,
You will obviously get more if road ready but, if you for example you have to put 2k finish it and get it through the iva but only get an extra 3k more than how it stands now, then is your time worth 1k?
Hope this helps

IMHO your time is worth nothing when building a kit, and by that I mean that I put over £20k (in cash) into my Rocket only sell it for £15k when finished and IVA'd so a loss of over £5k, and I had over 1,000 build hours. I had over £20k in parts and in true second hand style you will only get what someone is willing to pay. Do you have any photo's? as that would help sell it on.

I think part of the problem with part built cars is that a lot of people wanting to build a kit will look at it and think it hasn't been done how they want (not necessarily that they can do better, just personal taste etc).
So you can only get these people interested if it is substantially cheaper than what they could buy if they started from new themselves.
I would be interested to see photos etc as others have asked.
Thanks

Completely agree with others not wanting a part built car. Which is my it may be better to try and sell now instead of building further
I will take some pics and upload them

There is a huge gap in value between "registered" and "started" kits. 4-20K. I would put the hours in and finish what you started or get someone to do it for you. Otherwise you may have an expensive way out.

Sorry no photos yet, I have been away a lot recently.. Car is Hampshire UK based.
For those asking RE price, I have no clue, which is why I started the thread as I didn't know if it was worth anything in its current state.
I understand this question is very hard to answer without photos (which I promise I will take); but are we talking around the 4k figure in its current state?

Everyone lives in dream Land when they think there rocket is worth 15k / 20k it does not matter how much you send on it . It will take a good year to sell and only for 10k / 12k max what ever you have no one wants to pay for them all kit car owners are the tightest people on the planet with money they want something that 10k and only pay 5 quid lol and then they think they have been ripped off lol
