G-type dash can of course be an MX5 binnacle but I have decided to spend £20 and fit this neat little universal digital unit. Note cup holder is an optional extra and you may burn your balls if drinking hot fluids whilst doing doughnuts.

anyone spotted the key ring yet? Couldn't possibly comment - it would reflect badly upon me. Martin

The G-type has a key hanging from the ignition for those that didn't spot it, you can see it in the reflection of the mirror.

My guess is it's a southern hemisphere thing......like the water swirling the wrong way down plugholes as soon as you cross the equator Martin

Nice, and those work pretty well? Easy to wire up? I was going to purchase speedhut gauges however at $400 I'm not so keen when I can have this for $35! Also, saw the key in the mirror yesterday, nice!

I'm fitting them to the G-type just to be different, it does not seem hard though, just a wire to the coil pack for tacho and a magnet to stick on the prop shaft for speedo.

My guess is it's a southern hemisphere thing......like the water swirling the wrong way down plugholes as soon as you cross the equator Excuse me, who you to say our water goes the "wrong way"? Also with the weight of the land mass the other side of the equator and the number of people there are "up there" I reckon we are actually on the top half due to basic physics dictating which way a bias weighted ball will float. In fact I might just start a movement, could catch on seeing as flat eaters are coming back into vogue www.economist.com/blogs/graphicdetail/2017/11/daily-chart-21

Excuse me, who you to say our water goes the "wrong way"? ....mea culpa. I of course meant to say "the other way". You are entitled to have your water go whichever way you wish, and in no way was I intending to suggest that our way in the northern hemisphere is the correct or only way Anyway.....without wishing to cause any further controversy, do you find your Rocket has a greater tendency to spin one way rather than the other? That could also be due to your global location Martin

Nah I've spun it both ways in the last month plus a direct hit into a tyre wall so guessing it is not influenced by outside forces, in fact I know the one common denominator in all those cases..........

Just about to get back into the build, and just about at this stage, so an ideal stocking filler. Meanwhile, build photos.........
