Car completely stripped, boxed and labelled. I know a bit ocd but hopefully the time taken will pay back when I start to put it together I've treat myself to a small blast cabinet and powder coating kit So now its time to start cleaning parts up and painting or powder coating etc., Trouble is we can't decide on a colour and it's holding me up. I think I fancy a simple black and red only .

I meant red panels, black frame, black wheels, red calipers, even a black exhaust if I can find one.

Hi Graeme . Hope your ok?
Are you going to Blackpool car show this weekend?
Still can’t decide on colour. It’s really holding me up now. I have stripped brake Calipers and other parts but can’t get on to rebuilding as I can’t decided what colour etc.,
Not sure if the only colours are per the MeV website or if other colours are available?
Cheers
Mark

We will be at Blackpool, but in the Westfield as the MEV is mid turbo install.
I would have thought they can match any RAL colour, best give them a ring and see.
Mind, that will just give you even more options, lol

Started off with nasty looking brake calipers. We have stripped and cleaned them and purchased a rebuild kit. In order to learn how to rebuild them we have watched various you tube videos and we appear to be an anti squeal metal clip missing. There are only four clips to hold the brake pads in. Some of the you tube videos suggest that the missing clip is not needed. The clips are missing from both front calipers Please could somebody advise if I need these clips before I start rebuilding the caliper. Thank you for any assistance Mark & Adam

Hi
I have purchased a frost metal blacking kit.
I have been experimenting with the nuts and bolts
First I sand blasted the bolt heads, degreased and then followed the instructions.
The look is just what I want.
However the bolts never seem to dry properly and the blacking starts to rub off when I tighten the bolt up etc.,
Does anybody else have any experience with thIs?
Am I missing something or is it right that it rubs off a bit.
Per YouTube I note that a firm called caswell also makes a kit.
thanks for any assistance.
Mark.
