Had our club track day yesterday at Manfield in Central North Island. It was a wet day, strong drizzle all day and the track was never dry once which made for some interesting driving. I had a ball, to be honest I reckon it was the best day out in the Rocket yet! It also proved that MEVs are not made of sugar and don't melt in the rain. I did get very wet, muddy(!) and cold but boy was it fun. Here are a couple of videos of the fun and games. This what happens when you spot the chance to go under the ex club president upon exiting a corner. I warned my passenger that I was going to try and find the latest braking point for the corners, I did find it, in fact I drove past it before applying brakes! Whilst I was waiting to be pulled out from the tyre wall the warning lights for that section were on for the others cars, requiring them to slow down. I noticed one car seemed to have gone overboard on that requirement though coming almost to a stop on the track, then I saw that a mother duck and ducklings had chosen that moment to cross the track And, to prove I could get around for my full four laps (although at 4:45 it was looking dodgy)

This is what she looked like after the spin, a bit bogged down and requiring a tow to get her out of the mud.

Set myself a target of making a five minute video from the day by removing all footage of "empty track"

Some nice vids there. Always fun in the wet, good to see you catch the back end a couple of times as well as not manage to. Did the Tyre wall in the off do any damage ?

No significant damage, the front grille was dented and has pulled off it's mounting screws but nothing a good beating didn't sort. The biggest damage was from the kitty litter, my ludicrously expensive paint job looks very sad
