I have been looking for sometime to buy a Sonic. There is one currently advertised for sale on ebay. Does anyone know anything about this car.

I asked about the engine mods and got the following reply 'Hi there the only a few things have been added to engine. Turbo and air outlet'
Not very forthcoming with the information ...

I wouldn't be able to spot a turbo unit unless it was pointed out to me but the engine looks pretty standard imo. However can't fault the comment about being regularly polished, boy its shiny  |

I have found some additional information. The car was sold in June 2017 and has a 2009 engine modified in 2012.
The current seller sells cars and boats he/she does not appear to know much about the car other than by looking at the paper work he has for it. I have come to the conclusion that the car is not for me.
I wanted a Sonic as opposed to a Rocket for the improved weather protection but as Sonics rarely come up for sale I am pondering if anyone has fitted side panels to a Rocket. I appreciate that purist Rocket owners will be having a fit at the thought of my suggestion but some of us, especially wearers of shorts, do not want the wind blowing round our nether regions!

Bob fitted removable sides to his rocket but only fits them on for certain runs

As you guys guessed it was a private purchase.
Picked it up this evening and drove it back.
Knew that there would need to be work done as the accelerator pedal is a little sticky at the top.
Then it conked out twice which I initially thought was fuel but later after a tank of squirt it done it again but after a 2 min cool down when the rest of the way with out issue.
Like others I liked the sonic for weather protection so to see one come up, it was a take it or leave it.
