I am a member and MEV enthusiast just the same as everyone else on here, I am not a moderator. You are able to contact the staff in the same way as I can if you feel there is merit. Yes I understand that I can contact a moderator. What I'm asking is how does Del get in contact with a moderator? He cannot currently access this site with the IP address block on him. Kind of a catch 22. You said he should contact the moderators, but he can't since he doesn't have access.

Are you suggesting that Del contact someone by phone? If so, what's the name and phone number of the moderator he should contact? I will pass it along.

The rules are clear, not over zealous and staff are not particularly strict, they work together to ensure this forum remains friendly, fun and welcoming. The Newbie guide states: While some members nearing the end of their build decide to embark on a new, non-MEV designed product may want to use this forum to show others their creations, this is, and always will be, a branded forum. While we are always interested in what our members are up to, we ask that they join that brand's forum and post their build threads there. Read more: mevowners.proboards.com/thread/5874/newbie-guide#ixzz4fLnA8RKsPerhaps staff should remove this thread as it appears to contravene the above and we are not here to question management decisions. Perhaps the board "any other vehicle" should read "any other MEV" as the current title suggests discussion is encouraged for non MEV which would contravene the rules and dilute the aim of this forum, we could finish up filling space with chat about all manor of tin tops, maybe that is a good thing?

I don't want to cause any problems, just wanted to share a few pictures of my friends car and get some opinions for him. I did ask one of the moderators about posting pictures of the car prior to doing so. The moderator said, "I would say put it in the section for "Any Other Vehicles" not as a build thread just a car for interest to others.."
I am not creating, sharing, or showing a build thread, just photos of his completed car. It would be sad if the moderators decide to delete this thread, but that's not my decision. I'm just glad to be here. I won't post anymore pictures of non-MEV licensed cars.

I guess Photobucket is not allowing 3rd party hosting anymore, I fixed the pictures.

It’s been 16 months since the last post. I feel the design of the car is secondary to the turbo charged Miata engine. From the firewall back it looks great. I like the interior and the back end is quite “tidy”. The front grill area reminds me of a steam locomotive cow catcher. Of course living in the Oregon countryside, it would serve its design purpose, not necessarily with cows, but the odd deer or two. Since the frame is exo-skeletal it might look better with the upside down Superman symbol and panel removed, to add something a little more edgy that protrudes forward....perhaps. Anyway as long as the builder is satisfied with it, I am not going to be critical of another mans art....
I’ll bet is runs great.
