8th AMM - (Annual MOGgers' Meet)
to be held at the Curborough Sprint Course on Saturday 15th July 2017

So what's it all about? Tell me more!
This is the Annual MEV Owners Group meeting and if you own a MEV then it's not to be missed!
Each year Club MEV books the Sprint Circuit at Curborough, (located just north of Birmingham - WS13 8EJ) which is strategically placed in the centre of the country, so that no one has to travel more than they need.
It's an event where MEV Owners, guests and MEV enthusiasts can come together to display, meet, greet and partake in the social side of what it means to own a MEV product, in relative safety and, on a non-competitive basis, get the opportunity to drive their ’toys’ on a track and bask in the general ambience of what it means to own a MEV.
First time or just coming to see what goes on? Then arrive when you wish, the gates will be open all day.
Catering facilities will be available on site for the duration of the main event from around 9.30am ~ 4.00pm on Saturday. You're also welcome to bring a picnic and make a family day of it.
If the forecast weather is as expected, an ice cream van will visit at lunchtime so that we can take the chance to cool down before the afternoon activities. There will be a bouncy castle booked so that the little ones will not feel left out.

Own a MEV and fancy having a go? - read on:
This action-packed day of fun kicks off early at 8.30 to take maximum advantage of the circuit, so 'plenty of track time for everyone'.
We have arranged camping on both the Friday and Saturday for those MEV Owners who have to travel and are hardy enough to brave the UK's July weather.
However if camping's not your thing there are many good B&Bs locally, including a Premier Inn. Next door is the Fradley Arms where excellent food can be obtained at a very reasonable price (look out for the £10 2-4-1 deals) Even if you're camping Friday night, you can take a drive out to enjoy an evening meal.
The event is open to ALL MEV-designed vehicles regardless of their place of manufacture, although it is with some regret that we have to inform you that the Mills-designed Friar Tuck's Cart will not be attending due to its unfortunate demise.
What time do I need to get there? The Schedule:
The exact format and timing will be decided by the Marshalls and Staff at Curborough on the day and will depend upon the numbers of vehicles and drivers, but generally we will run single circuit sprints in the morning and twin circuit sprints in the afternoon, so plenty of circuit time for everyone to enjoy themselves.
A more detailed schedule will be given on the day.
8.30am - Circuit opens. You need to arrive before 9 am so you can prepare yourself and your car before the drivers briefing. (for those camping from Friday the facility will be open from around 5:00pm)
9.10am - Signing on. You will need to officially register with your driving licence and sign two indemnities on the day: one for the venue and one for the organisers.
9.30am - Driver briefing. Compulsory before being allowed onto the circuit. If you miss this main briefing you will have to wait until the Chief Marshall is available to do further briefings. (which may not be until the lunchtime recess)
In addition to the customary Circuit action we shall be arranging an Autotest area for those who wish to have a go. During the lunch interval we shall be using the circuit straight for an hour to give owners the chance to test out their reaction skills and obtain an approximate 0~60mph time. Further details of these and other activities will be posted nearer the date.
I'm coming, so how do I book my place on track?
