I think it would be interesting to lay down how much it costs to race your MEV worldwide. In the UK it's an expensive way to spend your weekend and if it weren't for volunteer marshalls I doubt many would be able to afford it. We can let it run as a thread or you could PM me and I'll collate the results and edit this initial post to include a table. I suspect there will be a larger range of costs in the USA than here in the UK, but I don't know and am interested to the point of considering emigration! Example: UK; Croft Circuit; 750 Motor Club; Qualifying - 15m; 2 races of 13m+1lap; £250. Ignoring the cost of club membership (£20/yr) series registration (£120/yr) and calling race-time as 15m per, that works out at £5.56/minute or £333.33/hour.

Events
Local closed road sprints / hill cimbs - $80-$100 1x practice, 3-5 timed runs. 1:30 - 2:30 per run Club track day - $140, 4 lap dual sprints and multicar (not officially timed though but still competitive as compared to public track days.)
