I solved this by buying a braided brake like and compression fittings from CBS, its a bit fiddly to get the olives sitting right but the result is great. The hard lines are nice and secure and the flexible braided line means the engine can move around without the risk of cracking a line. Cheap too.
You'll need the fitting from the ford on the clutch side - this is aluminium and the thread is easily stripped so be careful not to over tighten

Getting it trough IVA is possible but getting it registered in belgium will probaly fail as belgium is a stupid paper country. If in the end i cannot register it in belgium i will have to sell it in the uk, let's hope that isn't necesary Hi Kevin, Were you eventually able to correctly register the car in Belgium? Car is far from finished, changed job and became independant, had no time to proceed, at this time it runs en drives but needs lights, dash, seats ... it won't be for this year but i wont give up

I am on year 5 of my build, i do it when i have time. For me it is relaxing so keep going. I took a year off when i was getting married. Take your time and have fun.
