I have booked a stand for MEV owners for this brilliant show. The entertainment is great, air shows, drag racing, F1 cars blasting the run way. Music, good food, a show not to miss. I have space for 10 cars and 20 people for 2 days, although more can get in if Bob takes your ticket back once your in the gate as we have lots of space booked. Cars need to be on site before 9.30 am as once public gates open they do not allow cars moving, Safe and healthy!.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS FOR VISITORS IN MEV's ONLY.
BobN has kindly volunteered to meet and great to hand out tickets at the gate between 9 and 9.30am Please PM BobN to confirm if you are coming. Please bear in mind that the tickets were not free so don't say "I'm coming" if you may change your mind as this will do someone out of a place.
Tickets normally sell for £22 each day per adult.
More info re the event and camping etc. can be found on this link.
Whoa Air Shows, Cars of All Types and GRETA, the mind boggles at who she might be
“Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body. But rather, to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming .... WOW what a ride.”
This sounds right up my street so to speak. I used to live in Sywell when I was a nipper way way back in 1964-1965 (yes im that old). With the vintage theme of the show and visiting the old place again it would be a really fun nostalgic trip for me. One problem is I live in Bournemouth now, so its nearly 3 hours drive and (although I have a very low sugar content) its not going to be any fun drive al that way if the weather is crap. Best I can do at the moment is to say yes id love to come providing the weather is okay but put me at the bottom of the list as I don't want to take anyone else's place just in case I don't make it. BTW what is the cost for camping?
Can you pm me the list Julie collated during the Skeggy trip? This will be my starter for 10.
Any Exocet drivers who are coming and passing Leicester please pm me if you have a spare seat for the World of Kit Cars cameraman as we would like to record you driving your Exocet and feature it on the sywell episode. If there are a few Exocet's even better, we will record you all on the road in HD format.

Camping including security, showers and WC's in the proper field is £35 per tent if you book and not £35 if you erect your tent elsewhere after 8pm. Party in the main hanger on the Sat night is always a blast.
