While I was cutting, shaping and fettling, Micky cracked on with the loom. As anyone who's done one of these build knows, the original loom is nasty. It's wrapped with so much tape, glue and trunking it's unreal. So after several hours of stripping that back, we were left with the basics. As I'm going full MegaSquirt, a lot of the crap could go (as pictured above) leaving us with just the essential parts. CAM. Injectors, TPS, Air flow, water temp, fans etc. We needed to get to a point where everything worked, finally, at 230am this morning TunerStudio gave us all green lights There's still a LOT more to do before Thursday, but the basics all seem to be in and working. Need to connect up the fuel lines and turn it over and see if it actually works. That might have to wait until Wednesday now as I think tonight will be an early one and I've got a birthday to go to tomorrow evening!
