We have seen all manner of trailers, lorries, vans and car transporters used to collect Replicars kits. Then along comes clever John who hired a Luton van, it's plenty wide enough and just over the 4m length of the Replicar body. 2 men either end (well a girly on one corner actually) and it is an easy lift. Ally floor sheet down first, then the chassis, then lift the body on, perfect, no worries about ratchet straps to make sure nothing flies off and no worries about said straps causing damage to the polished body. Just shut the door! Rent on this was £68 for the day plus fuel. Now why didn't I think of that approach.

100 mile return leg home and car didn't move a bit. We had straps but as enclosed we didn't use them so chassis and body home nice and easy and clean.

And another. Didn't tie it down and it was fine at the other end.
