The weather was nice today, so I thought I'd take a couple of pics. This hasn't been the fastest build on record so far. At the current rate, I should have it built by 2043 I am hoping the build progress will speed up a bit, now I'm not working as much. 18" Rota Sub Zeros Steering column support. Went a bit overboard with the Brake Reservoir bracket.

Hi Simon, I don't know when you've started the build but so far it looks great, I specially like you're rims. Also a question about the seats, I like them as well ;D , are those the standard seats? If not which brand and type are they? Keep up the good work! Cheers, Arjen

Hi Arjen, I spotted the seats at a kit car show. There not any particular Brand or type.
It was a chap called Paul (07966 489158) who manufactures them.
He was very helpful, and can make them in any RAL colour.
Cheers, Simon.

I'm going to change the steering arms when it gets a bit colder, and I don't want to roll it outside.
Cheers, Simon.

Just a quick update, I've done nothing on the rocket. We've moved house & the only condition I had was a that it came with a double garage. It could of been a lighthouse for all I cared, but it had to have the double man room! However, I've got a few jobs to finish off inside the house first, and then I hope to be building again. Cheers.

Hi Simon, I just noticed the location of the steering column support bearing, I tried a similar location at first and found that it created too much angles in the joints on the steering column and caused the motion not to be smooth, I had to move it in the end. It might be worth checking (if you haven't already).
