Had too open up the top hole and straighten out the bottom of the bracket but managed to get it to fit, just need a few longer bolts to hold it on properly. Going to spray it over the weekend and hopefully get it fitted to the chassis New NA radiator just arrived to go with MEV brackets. How did you decide where to drill the three mounting holes in the chassis upright, as the height of the bracket must govern the height of the bonnet hinge mentioned by gwnwar, and so the sit of the bonnet on the frame?

I offered up the brackets and sat it on the bottom frame then marked the holes I figured there is only an inch or so either way so I thought the lower the better so that I had the best chance possible of the bonnet not catching. But as it turns out if you have the new pointy nose bonnet you can't use the bracket to mount the front of the bonnet anyway as it's to tight! So it's just a fancy/expensive bracket.

Oh, deep joy. When do I get to the easy part, as I don't remember breaking a mirror? Note to self: Look up meaning of the word "fit". Thanks Shane. P.S. Don't be letting @freshp be taking yours for any test-drives now

Ive got it back! And it looks awesome, thanks to Dave, Ste, Ken and most of all Daves mom for putting up with it in the shed! They have done an absolutely cracking job and have gone above and beyond with it! All i expected was the wiring to be finished and the panels on, but they ended up stripping it and starting again (probably to redo my dodgy work haha) I wouldnt have got it this far, not this year anyway due to a loft conversion thats going on so hopefully see you all out in it soon. Just need to sort the fan/temp gauge issue and its done!

Didn't recognise it at first on Saturday as I hadn't seen it with the black body on. Looked really good in the flesh, so enjoy.
