I'm looking at trying to improve my handbrake on my Triabusa. I've got the usual separate hi spec mechanical caliber. It's pants. Just fishing for any ideas and wondering if anyone has fitted anything else that's any better. Cheers in advance

I don't know of any cable type that's any better than the spot caliper.
I did ponder the idea of trying a line lock to the rear caliper, this way you keep the cable one on for the MOT in three years time.

That's my issue. I'd like to keep the mechanical side of things so that's I don't have to mess around when it comes to mot time. (Long way away I know)

I still use the spot caliper it's not brilliant but ok, I found if you make the caliper 2 mm narrower it helps as it's designed to grab a thicker disk than the standard one we use so the lever necks out, you just have to machine 2mm off the spacers in the middle and put it back together and hopefully it should be a bit better.
