Hi , after hours of researching the internet i am still not sure how to assemble.
The upper attachment is floating in the wishbone? Do I need to cut the tube? If so by how much?
would really appreciate some help with this?
Thanks Danny

Hi Danny, it would be really useful to post a picture of the problem.
However if you have the RTR infinite adjuster and they are floating back and forward I am guessing the tube does need cutting.
The length of the round part of the adjuster tube should be just slightly less than the length of the wishbone tube.

Hi thanks for replying.
I am unable to post a picture on here. I shall post it on the main website.

What main web site?
Do you have a photobucket account. It's free and fairly simple to use.

There is an app but it's easier to use it on the computer. www.photobucket.comYou basically upload your picture on to the site then you can copy it and post it on the forum.

with photobcket, when you click on the picture you want to use there will be 4 choices on the right hand side near the picture.
You need to click on the one that says direct, it will then say copied.
Then when you post on the forum, at the top right of the create post box on the last function bar, click the 3rd box in which is picture. A small window will open with an Http message. Just delete that and past in the one you copied from photo bucket.

It looks like it is about 1/2 inch to long. It should be just slightly shorter than the upright section that it sits in.

That's what I thought but was unsure did not want to cut it as there's no going back. Guess I need to cut?

On the Rocket the rear lower arm uses a longer bush, I received four all the same length and had to cut two down for the front.
Making and supplying them all the same length saves carrying two types in stock and prevents sending out three short ones and a long one which, with RTR, I can imagine would happen!
Unless you have access to a lathe use a fine hacksaw or thin slitting wheel on a grinder, file the end neatly to take off any burrs then screw the top link in from the other end, this will ensure you don't get a cross thread and any remaining burr is pushed out. You can then reassemble it the correct way after you are sure the thread is clean.
