the 6mm plate above your "option 1" picture is for the inertia real unit, drill 12mm hole and bolt directly below top hole centre so the belt pulls evenly. Do not attempt to bolt through the box section though as the correct bolt tension in this critical area will crush the tube. The tongue on the inertia real unit with a slot above the belt can be cut off.

Is the twist in the belt ok for IVA?

That radiator top tank is turning green..might not be long for this world.. Did you get the C clips fitted to E brake cables in car.. Coming along nice.. I have bought a new radiator and will fit tomorrow or this weekend. Been looking through radiator mounting throughout the forum and there seems to be a mix of mounting it inside and outside the front frame... I held it up at the weekend and just couldn't seem to get it to fit inside the bar.... bit worried about the narrower nose cone and therefor needing to mount it inside the bar or will it all be alright? Still stuck on this point, everywhere I look on here the radiator seems to be mounted inside the front bar but I just cant get it to fit... guessing the XS is slightly shorter in this department.... Stiggy can you shed some light please?

If it's like the standard Exo; I had to take off the rad side brackets, remove the fan, cut a section out of the side brackets for the lower chassis tube and reassemble whilst it was within the chassis - not as bad as it sounds! mevowners.proboards.com/thread/4825/yorkie-novice-build?page=13Hope this helps - good luck.

Thanks for that, going to have a look at it tomorrow, does all work ok having the fan removed...? Seems a bit odd to remove the fan, but on the other hand i suppose you have much better airflow through the nose...? but what about in traffic? I live in South East Kent lol cant go far without hitting traffic

taken brackets off but they didn't seem to be the problem, have taken the fan off but.... it still won't mount up, next problem is the pipe running from air filter across the front of the engine, can't get enough clearance for top coolant pipe and end up either having a massive slant (which actually looks quite cool but surely isnt right...) or putting it back to where it was with the fan on to get the right clearance..... think I'm gonna have a word with Stuart about those brackets he has for front flip bonnet which also has mounting bracket for radiator.
will try and upload pics later to explain, given up with radiator and working on a wiring harness tray atm, will also add pics later

are you using a MK1 doner or MK2 ? the rad on the build guide seems to be bracketed a fair way from front if you could post some pics from various angles that may help us find a solution
