If Donnington show does not happen then I can make this.
We can throw in some campsite suggestions closer to the time if some folk are travelling from further afield and want to only return back home on Sunday.

I would be up for skeggy, but would likely meet up there because the roads from Hull along the coast to skeggy are great. To be honest it would be a far better weekend than donny show, if only they would go back to old times when the circuit was open for us:(

Camping or B&B would be great, now a "friend of mine" informs me that the nightlife is good at Skeggy too. Sunday night is a big bash at the local race stadium and the main ballroom has the best ever (BBC award) tribute act on stage, T Rextasy, think I might be tempted to stay. Donington on the other hand has classic Beetle racing that weekend and superbikes GP the following weekend. The kit car race series goes to Donny on March 28/29th, another excuse to get out in the MEV in the spring and support the MEV race drivers. Anyone travelling down on Friday 21st would be welcome to camp on the infield of the MEV test track. It's rented out at the weekends though so the learner driver instructors will have a shock when they see tents on sat morn!

got an email from Skeggy tourism yesterday asking for more info. They are delighted we intend to meet up there and are trying to arrange car parking for us. I will keep you posted. Bob, you will look great on the sea front in your floppy white sun hat

This is now a definite date as we have received confirmation that it does not clash with any other kit car event. Please post below if you wish to attend and I will edit the list in the first post. Details will follow in a separate thread shortly regarding a track based event in June.
