That is bad news indeed. How bad is the damage, anything major, hopefully the others drivers insurance will cover the cost of repairs.

It will be hit and miss but not torrential so ok. Just wear waterproofs. Expect to get a little wet on any road trip, it's part of the fun.

I think we will spend at least and hour having lunch but will decide the night before and Andy will have more of an idea about how long it will take to get there and then Applecross.
Call us in the Sat morning and we can tell you our eta for Fort William.

Hi Bob/John
From Dumbarton to Fort William should take a little over 2 hours if we go direct without stopping. I don't think we can go through Glencoe without getting a photo shoot of all the cars. So I would say if we leave Dumbarton at 09:00 we should be up at Fort William at around 12:30.
