WHat are you doing for driveshafts and your diff unit is there something available or are you getting or have you got some made up ??

Hi jackdad I had to have custom shafts made for the quaife diff to focus hub,I'll get some pics posted as the car is at mk at the min waiting for a few things doing for iva.

Was it not possible to use the mevabusa diff and shafts from RTR or is it a different geometry?
We are speculating about using a twin electric AC motor from an electric bike in our rocket I think i will optimally need a 6:1 ratio at the diff as i won't have a gearbox do you know what the ratio of your diff is and do you know if you can you vary it with different sprockets or gears and does it have a torque limit? the motor combination i'm looking at produces 240 N/m

I doubt that the diff and shafts from the mevabusa and rocket would be similar even tho u never checked.
And as for the ratio I'm unsure of any specifics but sprockets are changeable depending on what u want to get from more acceleration to higher top speed.
I'll try to find out my ratio and sprocket teething size thanks Jay.

well the uprights look the same in the pictures so i assumed they were using the same hubs if the horizontal distance between them was the same i suppose it may work ??
