Hi Guys. Wondering if you can help me. I have a TVR 280i which I'm planning to change the pop up headlights to static units within the existing pod space.
After trawling the web, I stumbled across a couple of pics of Sonic 7's, the headlights of which would be really suited for my idea. They are a dual lamp configuration mounted on what looks like a swivel bar.
I don’t know how to post pics on here but the number plate of the car I have seen with these lights I think is S77 MEV. ( a blue and white one)
If anyone could advise me whether or not these headlights are available to buy or where I could get my hands on a pair, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and hope to hear from you all.
Cheers Dominic

Hi Dominic. That car you are talking about is Nigel's Sonic7 - THE Sonic7 I'm sure he wont mind giving you all the info you need in that respect. What is it you are thinking to do with your car's lights? Cheers Jose p.s. instructions on how to post pictures in the section "How to use this forum" www.mevowners.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=history

Cheers for the responses guys.
Jose, thanks for the help on uploading pics but I'm having trouble with photobucket so currently cant upload photos to show and explain my conversion idea. I will as soon as I can though.
Nigel, thanks also for the response, I'll contact him shortly. I notice though your Sonic 7 pic at the bottom of your post has different lights to the one I have previously seen. - the ones i'm after had dual "light pod" assembly either side of the car - hard to explain without posting a pic.
Thanks again guys, will post up more info when i'm able.
Cheers Dom

Jose are you planning on coming along to the 1st AMM on the 31st this month ? nigel Hi Nigel, sorry for the tale reply. To be honest I didnt even consider going to the 1st AMM basically cos I havent got a car... I supose that is no excuse really, but also it'd be a bit bad for me seeing 'all the other kids enjoying their toys while I havent got my own' lol. One day, one day... soon . I'll be looking forward to seeing the pics from all of you guys! Jose

My dear friend Nigel.............. You really threw the cat amongst the pigeons!! ;D. First of all thank you very much for the offer. I always wanted to drive one of those beauties, but never had 'the cheek' to ask anyone. I'm not sure what on earth I'm upto next weekend, but suddenly the 1st AMM features really high in the must-do list!! ;D. If I decide to take on your offer next weekend you'll see me prompt standing next to your Sonic and asking for the car keys at the start line Thanks a lot again. Jose

I think riding shot gun means in the seat without a steering wheel. Otherwise Nigel will have a que of drivers waiting for the keys for his P&J.

Jose I think something must have got lost in the translation excitement Jose, riding 'Shot Gun' as Stuart has already commented, means your in the passenger seat and not the drivers seat, being driven around by me. ;D Sorry if I got your hopes up. nigel
