What's the cost to road tax a rocket in 2014?

The 2.0 litre engine (New) cost me £220 in September last year for 12 months. May SORN it this September and get it taxed in march. Think 6 months is £135.

Got plans for that too Steve? I was tempted to go EV for the Sonic but the cost & lifespan of the batteries, the realistic rural range/charging availability plus the limited on going fettling opportunities has kept me down the good 'ol fossil fuel approach...

<moan about Ireland> Ha! If only. If I get an age-related plate (and therefore based on engine size, oddly a good thing in this case); €710 a year. On the other hand, if I have to get a new reg, it's based on the CO2 output ofmy ST170 donor, and a great big €1,200 a year. </moan about Ireland>
