Both sides did that, I did make sure to stuff it full of grease while reassembling. Thanks for the heads up!

Luke - are the Quik-Latch mini's just too small to use on the rear of the hood (where you used the Aero Latches)?

I ordered 4 to see if I wanted to use them all in addition to the aero latches. If I positioned the hood 1/2" more forward they would have worked, but the hood is now too close to the body mounts.
They could be made to work in the back, just might have to thread them into a standoff to make them taller.

I ordered the 4" long 5/16" thread posts for the back of the hood.

I'm not 100% on what you mean, I used 2 of these on the mounts by the top of the radiator then 2 1/4-20 bolts thru nut clips down near the bottom of the radiator on either side. Clear as mud?

I used two next to the top of the radiator, two next to the firewall with the extended pins and I just put some foam on the bottom front mounts to keep the nose from shaking.

Got my fuel fill today, finished running the fuel hose and wiring the licence plate lights into the tail lights as well. I made a backing plate with the same hole spacing to go under the trunk and act as a washer. Last thing on the list is to mount the fenders!

I went with that same fuel filler and I think I have very similar plate lights on the way.

Got the car inspected today and will head to the dmv Tuesday to get the plate. I added the Exocet to,the insurance policy, it is $320 for 6 months full coverage, valued at $25k. Here are the pics I'll give to the dmv of the car:
