Been making good progress over the past few weeks: Exhaust is back from being ceramic coated. Very good finish and hard wearing and not your usualy easy to chip material. The company have their own developed process and materials and supply F1, Lamborghini, Pagani, Ascari etc. Will reduce heat by 33% and not as expensive as you may think to have done.

The front end of the car is pretty much finished now but will need to change things for IVA at a later date. Last job was to put a solid floor in at the front and reduce the gaps past the radiators to direct air flow:

Bulkhead fitted. This will be the slow progress area as I have many holes to cut for the charge cooler, ram-air pipework etc, and finally, the engine side will be covered in Zircotech head shield: Carbon fuel tank cover is fitted and currently being clear lacquered along with the seats that are having a chrome spray coating applied to the back, similar to the chassis. Hope they look OK ??

Had the fuel tank modified to accept the Webcon sender/swirl-pot/fuel pump all in one unit, which has had some good reports. Nice neat and tidy design:

Had the vinyl applied to the rear wing to carry the lines from the bonnet, through the seats to the back: Still waiting for the charge cooler so I can fit this in situ and then start with the air/water pipework, but should have this next week.

Hi Jon Impressive work and exceptional qualityî•be interested to see the engine cover, mine is still in design phase! Regards Jim Hi Jim, Their is no engine cover going to be fitted - just the polycarb side panels. I think the engine bay will look nice so dont want to cover it up ! For IVA I will use one of the old style Rocket single engine covers.

Is the bonnet carbon fibre with the red parts vinyl ? Can I ask where you got it from ?

Hi,
Yes the bonnet is carbon fiber. The originally supplied bonnet weighs 6kg and this bonnet I have had made weighs 1.8kg. PM me if you are looking for one to be made. The red stripes are vinyl (which can be lacquered over) and have been art worked to fit the raised lines of the bonnet perfectly. As the artwork is complete, you can buy the vinyl in any color combination, If I remember correctly it would cost £60 to reproduce including any color pin stripe.
