Have had a lot of parts returned this week from being modified and made - so plenty to get on with now. Final piece to the dash has arrived which apparently was very difficult to make. Dash lay-out is now complete, just needs wiring: Behind the dash is were I envisage to put the battery.

Some pics of the under bonnet which I have been concentrating on recently: Bonnet Rams fitted. Easy to fit but a pig to get the lift correct. I have gone for some 150mm stroke length units as the 200mm fouled the steering column cover: I have decided to ditch the twin pot reservoir and use a Tilton 3 stage for the brakes and clutch so they are all on separate lines. I had to modify the brake pots to take float switches for IVA and safety: Pre-Rad for charge cooler has been made and fitted. This is a'twin pass' unit and will help in keeping the charge air to the plenum consistently cool. Raised charge air temps can loose your 50 BHP once engine is up to temp, so this will (hopefully) keep it all cool This will now connect to a charge cooler which is being made. Full under bonnet shot. Have started to direct the air flow so it can only travel through the rads before it exits the bonnet air vent. I have had another piece of kevlar/carbon sheet made to close the floor and made some panels to direct the air. Many thanks to 'Motorhead' for his thread on Cooling.

Supercharger bracket: This is a very nice piece of CNC work. Still to have all the pulleys, etc fitted, but it encompasses the engine mount, alternator, tensioner and supercharger. A kit is now available to purchase for the rocket owners. Standard 2.0 Zetec engine with kit = 220 BHP ;D Forged engine and other mods up to 400 BHP Very nice linear/progressive BHP/Torque curve.

Holy Cow, that's some car.
Please weigh it when you're finished. It would be nice to know how much lighter yours is!

I dont think he has done it to save weight, or he wouldnt have those heavy seats. ..................but, my word is it pretty

Might be a stupid question, but what is the switch on the right of the line of 3 with the fan symbol?
I am assuming it is to turn the fan on, but what are the thoughts behind it?

I dont think he has done it to save weight, or he wouldnt have those heavy seats. ..................but, my word is it pretty Thanks Patrick. I have saved alot of weight with wheels, bonnet, no engine cover etc, but have added weight with seats, etc. Not sure what the final weight will be, but your right in saying weight saving is not my key factor - but hopefully should be still relatively light

Might be a stupid question, but what is the switch on the right of the line of 3 with the fan symbol? I am assuming it is to turn the fan on, but what are the thoughts behind it? Well spotted. It's nothing more than a spare switch should I want to add anything in the future. I chose the fan switch as I may use it as an override for the rad fan or add another fan to the pre-rad, but may not use it at all ??
