Also got an e-mail today with the progress on the supercharger bracket: This is the main peice to the supercharger fitment. Quality machining work. Will be going for anodising then should have it ready to fit by next week end. This will then be available as a bolt on kit for the Rocket and Sonic running a Zetec

Mabbs - I hate to say it but I think your pics are the sole reason for all us other rocket builders not uploading pictures - surely you must have a few duff ones you can show, maybe one where your garage looks less like an operating theatre or one that doesn't contain carbon fibre ;D

It's good to see others progress and for me by posting pics, those more in the know can spot my mistakes - but I must admit you only get to see the good stuff from my build - not the - shall we say errors Must admit the garage is tidy and I like to work that way, but the workshop is a $^!# hole. The garage needed to be plastered for fire regulations from an extension built and the floor cost a total of £165 to tile and a weekends work- cheaper than floor paint - so there is method in the madness

Did my car with the bike cans in similar layout to yours and they are superb. No problems with IVA either putting them on the back. Lovely burble with the silencing baffles in and they will make your ears bleed if you run it baffless.... and thats just with a little 1.8 in.

Cracking build Mabbs! Very jealous of your 'operating theatre'.

Some more progress made over the past few weeks, but I seem to be taking more bits off at the moment than putting on !! Wing mirrors now fitted complete. Decided to opt for some with integral side repeaters. Hopefully they will pass IVA, if not will have to come-up with a temporary idea to get the car through. They were originally black and I had to smash the mirrors to disassemble them for paint. Then make a pattern to get some new mirrors made. Also fitted the polycarbonate screen which I have slightly re-modelled from the original shape.

I have not been happy with the electrical sleeves covering the steering rack, and by chance I come across these which I think look more tidy:

Have got some more pics to take but battery run flat !!
Supercharger bracket is on and fitted to car. Charger and alternator fit perfectly.
Exhaust is back from being ceramic coated but can not fit this until the sump is returned from being modified (again)
Fuel tank is being modified to accept the Webcon fuel pump/swirl pot/sender all in one unit
Pre-rad and charge cooler are under way
Dash2 carbon surround is in the pre-preg oven. This will complete the dash lay-out.
I have also decided not to put an engine cover on the car, but will be putting some polycarbonate side panels on. Will have to do something temporary for IVA
