Here is a shot of the bolt head.

I used 1/2" x  3" grade 12.9 bolts, the size is overkill but had some leftover from the last engine install at work.

The head with lock washer is 3/8" or 10 mm.

Glad I could help. When I drop the frame on the PPF assembly I will re-measure the ground clearance if you want. That hopefully that should be in a week.

Received and update on my parts from Treasure Coast Miata.

Engine is build is completed, rear sub-frame is painted and assembled, CV axles serviced and ready, rear end serviced and ready and front sub-frame should be finished by Tuesday. Yes!!!

Scheduled to mount the frame on the PPF on Thursday. Looks like X-mas will be a week early for me.

Tomorrow I pickup my built engine and parts from Treasure Coast Miata. We are also mounting the PPF to the frame!

It has been a long day. Started at 4 am for the drive north from The Florida Keys to Treasure Coast Miata in Hobe Sound, FL.
I arrived with the frame just before 8 am and the crew at Treasure Coast Miata were ready to start.



Lined up, bolted up, and torqued all by 9:30 am Mounting the frame is 1, 2, 3 just like it should be.

Load up and start my way back home, Had extra time to go Christmas shopping at Wine Country Motorsports to. 

Received an email from Kevin at Exomotive on the way home. My  body panels are complete except for the fenders.





My body panels and someone else with a darker blue also. Both sets waiting on fenders.
