Hi all. Thought I'd say hi. I've been thinking about building a tr1ke for over a year now. But due to other projects etc never got round to placing an order. Last week the story changed, I was put on to the possibility of a factory built trike that may be for sale. I am now the proud owner of mev tr1ke no2 a 3 year old trike fitted with an r6 engine. It may not be the full fat r1 version but hell of a machine. I picked it up yesterday and nervously drove the 15 mile or so home. Having never ridden a bike or driven anything like this it was a very steep learning curve. But a very enjoyable one at that!! Any way enough for now. I'll be back for advice and tips soon!!

I did want to trailer it home and "learn" in my own time but was bullied in to it by colleagues and probably the best thing to be honest as I did not have chance to be too nervous. Keith

Yes it is. It was previously owned by an 82 year old gentleman

Yes I know which trike it is now, does it still have the reverse system fitted and 1 tank? You can always remove the reverse, because I imagine its a fair weight already, and replace the space with another tank. You could always go down the starter motor reverse route like we have. Will you be coming to Curborough on the 19th July?
If so, get booked in

As far as I'm aware it never had a reverse and only one fuel tank. Don't know anything about Curborough?? What is it?

Yeah it had a reverse initially. I would say if it's not fitted anymore then there is no reason you can't fit a second tank. After all it's 2 gallons extra fuel and will equal out the weight distribution. Or certainly help.

Did you buy the trike from the bloke in Barick in Elmet or from RTR?

Oh right well there must be a reason it was removed. I'm going to visit RTR over the next week of so. I'll talk to them about it in more detail.
I did buy it direct from Peter. I'm in South Yorkshire so only 15 mile from previouse owner.

I'm just in Huddersfield so by all means pop over if you need to view anything.

That would be great. Not really confident to drive that far in the trike at the moment as some of the "modifications" make it difficult for me to drive.
