Well i've started my build (Build Diary to follow) and am starting to probably think a little too far in the future already, but I wanted to get people's opinion on what brake disc/pad/caliper set up they have or would suggest on the Rocket?
Mine will be pushing a minimum of 400bhp per ton so need something that will stop it, and other than the Hi-Spec calipers what other options are there?
I also had the chassis modified to accomodate the Hi-Spec's on build.
I got a little carried away and have the hi-spec RR114-4 CALIPERS on 310 x 28mm vented grooved discs. www.hispecbrake.co.uk/RR114310.html they are overkill, but will cope with anything I upgrade to in the engine department. Hi spec rears too, with the handbrake pads. will all be different at the back later on in life. any radial caliper will do, I just had new hangers machined up to suit. check out the build
