I personally enjoyed the AMM drift meet... Never has my car been more out of shape lol. Some spectacular driving by the MEV brigade, and some excellent grass cutting by some mention no names. If you didn't loose it.. You weren't trying.

What an amazing day! Credit to all those who drove their cars in the most aweful weather ever! To those who gave passengers rides-it was really nice of you, and has given me the biggest push to get mine sorted. Been great to meet everyone too and put faces to names. Can't wait to see the pics! I was lucky enough to be in carbonBob's car when he had probably the biggest off of the day! Thanks for that! Clothes are in the wash as we speak! Lol. Wayne.

Good to meet some of the guys. Got some great pics..... Mostly of steve sideways..... ? The poor weather didn't stop the hardcore MeV owners from having a great time. Made it more exiting for the spectators. Thank you all. Hope to join you all next year. Ross

Journey home was totally dry. Typical. Had a great day, thanks to the organisers, and everyone I had the chance to talk too. Hope my passengers enjoyed the rides. Have got a few videos, will try to sort out as soon as can. I've had a quick look and I think I've managed to catch some sidewards action. Simon

Massive thanks to Nigel and his volunteers who helped out. I have to say I was delighted to note that the rain did not put a dampener on the fun, I think it added to it! Guy did a great job with the auto test which proved popular and the radar gun added another dimension, 0-60 timing was fun and the top speed over the line gave some surprising results. Well done to FATBOY who won the 0-60 at 5.2 seconds, pretty good on a damp track. Next stop for the MEV roadshow is 2 weeks time, CARFEST at Oulton Park, I have tickets left for each day at £15 each if you are in your MEV. info@mevltd.co.uk

Yet another great day at Curborough......not quite the weather we've been used to in past years, but huge fun nevertheless, despite the constant feeling of dampness around the edges . Lots of new cars to see as well as most of the usual crew - plus enthusiastic driving in not quite perfect conditions! Thanks as usual to Nigel - shame it was so wet you wouldn't take the cover off your Sonic......I presume it was parked up in the corner somewhere? . And not forgetting everyone else who contributed to making it what it was. Special mention for Paul "Radar" Holmes who did correctly predict a dry journey home for us (.....I won't mention the 40 mile detour cos Linda left her jacket and keys.....d**n - I've mentioned it! ) Martin

Sorry i missed it, couldn't face a two hr drive in rain, to have to drive home in a Thunderstorm, normally rain doesn't bother me, but after calling the AA the day before to recover my caravan, i was unsure if they would recover me the following day due to breaking down quite possibly.
Hopefully see you all next year.
