Pretty sure we'll be up for it......just need to sort out the logistics - do we need a "support vehicle" (aka comfortable car for Linda ) and stopping over arrangements (ie tent or local hotel), but reckon I'll pay up as soon as there is a means to do so. Would be nice to know that it is a MEV only session up front too, but I know that that's Catch 22 Martin

I know there's a full article on KITFEST coming out in kit car magazine April issue with much more detail on the event. I going to get in contact with the organiser's re a MEV Only track session but I really need others to express there interest. SO PEOPLE PLEASE POST. nigel

You can count me in.
Do we just book a pass with the circuit then change it to a mev time or is there a time we should be booking.

I`m in thinking of booking 4 or 5 track sessions through the daybut definately up for a mev only session. As for hotels in the area, camping might be the best option. There is a premiere inn at Chippenham and another one just up the road from me in westerleigh 14 miles from the circuit.Im planning to do the camping bitrather than drive home.

There's a couple of things in the itinerary that needs clarifying before I sign up.
It says kit cars are to be driven to the venue and not trailered. I hope this is meant as a requirement to get free entry, and kit cars can be trailered but with an entrance fee.
Also it states a max noise of 100db for cars, Are bike engine kits ok at 105db
Cheers
Kevin

Good questions Kevin, I'll put them in the pot along with some others and put them to the organisers for a response. Anyone got any other's?

Do we just book a pass with the circuit then change it to a mev time or is there a time we should be booking? Nigel - to follow up on Dave's question, I'm assuming (and I had a look at the stuff on t'internet too...) that the price of £20 each is based upon a £560 exclusive session, and 28 of us participating. So, that means that we need to have 28 definite takers (give or take a couple I guess...) before we can say that we want a MEV exclusive session; and that booking should be coordinated by a MOG person too? I may be completely wrong of course - won't be the first time, and doubt it'll be the last either . Martin

I will be attending, and camping both nights. Sounds like a great event. Suggest it would be easier if we all book for 11.45 otherwise if not enough book then someone may finish up paying the balance. It would be advisable to book early to make sure we all get on track together. Love the idea of a meal and a drink, good value too.

Hi All, To answer some of your questions... Kevin - you are correct, the 'no kit cars on trailers' thing is for the free entry. If you want to trailer a non road legal car to the event and display it/use it on track that is no problem at all. As for noise limits, it is a maximum of 100dBA for all vehicles, regardless of the type of engine.
Really hoping website booking will be live by the end of this week - just having some problems getting the booking system to cope with the pre registration for free entry. At present the system is taking you to the credit card details page and trying to charge a £1 booking fee. Didn't realise it would be so hard to give things away for free!
Most of our exclusive sessions are are booked and paid for by a club representative who will then liaise with their own members for payment etc. Stuart's plan could work if you all synchronise and book the same session at the same time but you run the risk of one of those pesky sevens sneaking in and de-exclusivising it! My advice is to start collecting the money in now and see if you can fill the session. It is the cheapest way to get on track - £15 cheaper than the on the day price and with all your mates so a really popular option.
As for hotels, I thought you lot were hardcore campers?! I'll be camping and I only live 15 mins away!
Cheers, Neil.
