Anyone can use any of the information I post as I hope to use what I read here as well.
Thanks for all your input guys, it is appreciated
Your right about the rust, I read where it can increase when using wrap. However, I do not plan on driving in the rain and the car will be kept in the garage when not in use.
If I do get caught in the rain, hopefully I will have a top to put up and the heat from the exhaust will dry any mositure on the pipe.
You see, I am building this car for fun. I don't plan on racing it, just to cruise around but I do want better throttle response and the increase in horsepower that cold air intake alone will give.
When I post my next picture, you'll see how I have the intake setup.
My motorcycles arn't getting any lighter and I'm not getting any younger. My wife and I can both drive this, we won't have to wear helments and can sit side by side as it should be in a good relationship. After all, we've been married for over 36 years and still get along great.
I wonder if Mills would give a senior citizens discount on the kit?

It is from the mx5 tunnel were the gear shifter comes up..It is to seal out water, heat and noise..Seals shifter to body.. I would put it on the bottom of the tunnel as a seal and a nice boot on top..

As you all know by now. I sent a email the first week of December to put down the deposit on the kit only to find out it had been discontinued. If anyone is interested, I posted my donor for sale under the for sale section. If anyone is interested, please let me know
Thanks for looking and your help during the last year

Hope your doner finds a good home it's a shame that production stopped after all the work you put into prepping the running gear do you think you will do another kit project

I looked around at a lot of different kits that would accept the Miata donor. I went to the kit car show in Carlisle, PA just last month. After doing all this research, I just never found anything that compared to the MEVSTER when it comes to style, price and ease of build.
My son wants to go half on a muscle car, so maybe that will be my next project
