I ordered my tR1ke last week from Dove Racing and expect delivery a week from Monday. Downer is a 2007 with just over 12000 miles on it. Building in So. California, could drive every day except when it rains. This forum has been a big help and I will continue to use it throughout my build. Thank for all the good info.

could drive every day except when it rains. I will be able to drive everyday except when it rains, is too windy, too cold, need to pick up fence posts, take the cat/wife to vet or transport more than one passenger. so no difference really

Never that cold in So Cal. Drive alone 99.9% of the time. It's all the "I want a ride and can I drive it" people that I am looking forward to.

Hi Bob & welcome to one of the friendliest forums I also got my kit from Pete & needed him to finish the wiring + It always draws a crowd wherever I stop & people are hanging out their window taking pics as they pass by. I'm adding a quick release hub which will move the wheel a bit closer to ease the arms out straight fatigue. What did you get for the donor bike ?

I relocated the steering column to get a better elbow angle.about 2" to the right and 2" to the driver. Not a big modification but very comfortable. You may have less issues with the column lenght and linkage as well. Have a browse in my thread for pics.

Hi Bob, When your kit arrives you may notice my order of build may be of good use for you as well and you may not be in need to write your own manual. You may have to use a note book for small details to remember before coating tough. However, if I would build an new tR1ke I'd add an alu plate under the bonnet(weld additional brackets!) to attach the solenoids and wiring on. I ran out of fixing points which made the loom look a bit clumsy. Feel free to ask any questions you like in every build thread made. Just make a quote to the post you are refering to. we are happy to help you out. good luck! Erik

Hi Bob, We are picking up your chassis today from powder the coater. I look forward to seeing this new color. Tomorrow we will be loading up all your goodies and on Friday she will be headed your way. Pete and I took a Rocket and a Trike out for a spin into the metro mess Saturday. Seebee is right, people will swarm you! They will pull along side you and take pics or vids. If you dont want them beside you just touch the throttle on the trike and they will instantly be way behind you!!! I like the attention however.LOL Enjoy the Trike it is absolutely my favorite so far. I am looking forward to building the first Mevabusa and comparing performance.

Delivery delayed for one week or so. Shipper problems and my work got in the way of getting answers about shipment. Oh well, the missing parts won't be here for about two weeks, so that is the way things go. Pete Dove is a good guy to work with. Anybody in the U.S. Should have a very good experience getting your MEV stuff through him.

Kit arrived today. Unpacked, sorted, checked. Ready to start the build. Did the bolts, nuts, washers, balance bar, rear emergency break, etc come in your kit? Can't find an exact inventory of what should or should not be in the kit. Is there a list anywhere that lists what you need to buy that is not included?

Hi Bob, The balance bar and emergency brake should have been in the kit. The nuts, bolts and washers are not included in the kit. I believe we have a list of what is needed to be purchased. Contact Pete about the missing items. I will check on the list of parts for you.
