Is your fuel tank filler pipe going thru that bulkhead or are you putting the tank up front?.
Just make sure the hole for the coolant pipes is large enough because it isn't just those going through there all your lecky wires for starter motor, lights and ecu loom need to fit and leave enough room for you to work on them in the future.
Just remember with the engine cover. It may fit the bay in one piece just now but once the engine is in you may not be able to get it out. May not seem a problem but if you need to get to the manifold, coolant pipes or anything else at the front of the engine it will be difficult.
I cut mine in half, down the centre so it can be removed in 2 sections, means I can get to the cam belt/aux belt without having to remove the whole cover.

Hi airforce one. Interested in the 3 part engine cover concept. Did you just butt each piece up to the other for a join or did you bind/bolt some form of alloy panel on the reverse of grp to get a solid base if that makes sense

They are just butted together and held by the sticky heat shield I have on the back. They are still screwed on to the chassis as well.
Looking back now though I would cut the sides off and put the back panel on as a solid piece. Still easy to dismantle but I think it would look better as the join at the corners would be hard to see behind the chassis/rollbar.

I like the wheels... I'm a fan of the split rear bulkhead.. Mines off now and makes gearbox work really easy. Engine cover.. Mines on the garage roof somewhere lol. Looking really good though

I had to enlarge my coolant pipe hole. Tried to make as small as possible like you. But you have brake pipes. Hand break bits and thick wire yet.

But remember you can always cut it bigger if it is too small.
Until the market the fabled "Putting On Tool" you can't make it smaller.
So a bit at a time and enlarge it only if required.

Class, nearly there..... I want to order my wheels now, but gotta wait until next month (then I can get the kids to push me around making pretend engine noises (childish I know but why not).
Good progress.

Joker accelerator pedal in position, think I'm going to have the pedal plate machined from ally so its adjustable.

Very nice angles on the steering column. If any body needs the dimensions of the extension shaft a have a drawing somewhere, also have the part no of the bearing and dimension for the location. The shaft is 500mm piece of 20mm stainless round bar. with a 17mm hex machined on one end, the other is machined to 16mm then flats machined at 14mm....PERFIK FIT

Radiator in position with a standard focus 1.6 rad and fan, I had to cut into the fan housing to allow the cylinders to fit PITA to be honest, also not left much room for the water pipes, and that even when I have moved the rad forward 50mm!!!!. Will probably do away with the fan and buy a pushing one instead

Also note the serial number is on a fully welded plate to comply with IVA regs, watch out for this if yours is different. I am led to believe that the serial number stamped directly into the chassis is acceptable
