$360.00 for head lamps. I would keep looking.. If you are going to run the ones you have on there now you will have to rotate the lens to get beam level horizontal..

Loving the look. Trying to figure out the facial expression on the car . Geoff, when you get a chance, can you please share how the steering column goes through the firewall? I was trying to figure it out this morning. The bracket on the steering column looks like it should be attached to the firewall, but there is only one big hole on the firewall itself. The bracket at the lower end of the steering column attaches to the Brake pedal assembly. Thank you sir.

Are those tails just the same trailer lights FM uses?

Curious if it is possible to keep the brake dust shields in place, and use the fender stays .... or, do the dust shields need to be removed for the stays to fit ??

Big day today, BAR is completed. I hope that the following info can be helpful for my fellow California Exoceters. Set my apointment for 7:30am. Got to the Evergreen College BAR station at 7:20am. They were waiting for me. I pulled close to the bar but didn't pull in. Got out and chatted with many students about the process of building the car. The BAR ref came out, I think his name was Johnny. He is always stationed there. He asked me to remove the hood. Checked the PCV to make sure it was correct. He then took my paperwork. I made sure to print off the pictures from this forum of my build process. They just want to make sure that I built the car. He then took a picture of the car and sent it to his supervisor. Supervisor said it was good and then my sticker was printed. The cost of this process is $0. Now that I could relax I asked him some questions about what he was looking for. Things he DOESN'T care about: Windshield (let alone safety glass) Wipers Mirrors Turnsignals Fenders Things he DOES care about: PCV I built it myself and can prove it Here is a picture of where the car sat for the whole process, which took less than 45 minutes: Here is the huge machine that they use to enter in all the info into the BAR system: He said that the BAR refs that do the SB100 had a meeting in Oct, where they were told that (for the most part) all they need to look for is the PCV.

I wish Maryland process was that straight forward. Even after all the inquiries I made, it is still shrouded in mystery.

Over here we have a 300 page manual of musts that MUST be followed. Looking forward to seeing it with the fenders fitted. Nice one

At least you have a manual. Here we have a manual for a regular car inspections. Other an that, no mention of anything other then the kit car needs to pass an inspection.

MD sucks to register even a normal car.... Not if you go to Tag and Title place. In and out in 10 mins. Don't have to go to MVA. Well worth extra $40 they charge .

Congrats! Now let's see you get a video of you and the car driving by. I can't wait for my kit to arrive.
