Hi has anyone been to the EXETER KIT CAR SHOW, is it worth going, was thinking of wrapping up warm and taking the exocet, but want to find out if its worth the 2ish hours drive down from swansea. Cheers.

Team MEV will be there so please come along. The show is smaller than Stoneleigh but it is the last show of the year (apart from NEC classic where we will have a Replicar on show). To attract attention this year at Exeter we will be having our Mevster demo car wrapped, currently dark orange, who knows what Tim and Rob from Exetersigns.co.uk will come up with! RTR will have 2 cars on show too.

Hoping to be there with the race Exocet on display if I can get it back together in time. Not looking forward to a few evenings on my back refitting the gearbox

I should be there on Sunday but only if I can leave the Missus safely at home. (She is recovering from a spine op last week, where she had some spaceframe chassis reinforcement added . Need her to get better soon as I need her during the chassis turning - ( No not to lift , just to check/position the trestles).
Hope to see some of you there.

Does anyone have a mobile number for Julie? We are on route to the Kitcar show and currently stuck in traffic. Thanks in advance for your help.

Well I wished is stayed at home got there around 1ish to find the whole bottom car park being used by a drifter with hardly 20 kit cars in the outside car parks. Inside looked so empty very few manafactures even had to have a local club to fill the hall. The California Ferrari rep was terrible and a few other too.
But good to catch up with stuart and the team and a catch up with stewart aka freakyparts about next years race series.
Looks like it wont be back aswel what a mess shame the same organiser has destroyed 2 shows now detailing looks to be gone aswel. Poor showing for the kit car industry.

Think it's going to be Stoneleigh and Donnington that will be the only 2 worth going to especially if your traveling a long way. Shame really that all the big shows are down south.
There are a few shows in Scotland but cater more for classic cars that kits.
Never know, I'll be looking for employment as of December, might be an opportunity there for a new full on organized kit car show North of the Border, Maybe around the borders region to entice the southerners up.
