Hi All, I am a newbie to the was looking to build a Rocket - but after seeing the Mevbussa at Car Fest North decided thats the way to go. I have a couple of intial questions:-
1) Is it worth buying the "Mevbussa in a box" - or can all the additional parts be found fairly easily elsewhere at a reasonable cost?
2) I have had a look at getting an engine - it seems importing one from the US looks the best method ( 2012 < 10K miles for <£2K with shipping). Has anyone else tried this?

Welcome to the forum. glad you love the 'Busa, there is nothing quite like it.
The kit in a box package does represent good value if you add up all that is contained within it.
The dear bits are the diff, driveshafts, wheels/tyres, brakes, seats, lights etc. We use Momo 15's as part of the kit fitted with semi sticky rubber, Quaife limited slip diff, custom solid driveshafts, and Hi Spec brakes for a start so only good quality parts.
You can of course shop around and find some bargains and we don't penalise you for coming back to us and ordering the extras later.
If you have the time to source all your parts individually then maybe this is the route you will choose but with one exception (a chap who wants to spread the cost of the parts over a year or so), everyone so far has done the sums and then ordered the kit in a box.
